I just turned 24 today, im 5"9', and weight 160 lbs. I've had a pretty good medical history, nothing major. Pretty healthy. I have a tiny lump under my tongue. But it looks like a little tiny bubble or like balloon filled with blood. I'm taking a guess and saying that its from sucking hard last night...no sexual activity of that sort, just to clear any confusion i suppose.
The tiny bump under the tongue occur probably due to irritation to the mucosa . There are many factors that can cause such bump like any action like sucking and biting , any food that can irritate mucosa like acidic and hot food . Such bumps usually go away by their own without any treatment . I would suggest you to do hydrogen peroxide gargles mix with equal amount of water and maintain proper oral hygiene . Also do warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day. If condition doesn't get better the consult oral pathologist for proper evaluation of the condition and rule out conditions like mucocele ans other malignant condition.
Hope your concern has been resolved. Get Well soon. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
