Hi, I had a very large mucous cyst in my mouth earlier this year and had it surgically removed in August. It had completely healed, however I now have a tiny mucous cyst right next to where the other one was. How shall I treat this? I really don t want to go through the surgery again. Thanks.
Hi.. Greetings of the day... The primary treatment for mucus cysht is excision of the cyst with its covering capsule completely ....partial removal causes recurrence....after injection. I usually use injection triamcinalone to the base of the cyst to prevent recurrence ...you can try taking the triamcinalone can be tried injecting into the base of the cyst....wish you a speedy recovery...
