I went to the doctor for tonsillitis. My doctor gave me a script for 2000mg of amoxicillin a day for 10 days. I finished the script about a week ago. Since that time I have had horrible gas, what I can only assume is a yeast infection, and small red bumps on my chesr and upper back. What is going on? Is this normal after taking such a heavy dose of antibiotics?
Hello Welcome to health care magic Dont worry...every thing will be normal. Avoid taking spicy food, alcohol, smoking and junk food. Start a ppi for 5 days once a day before meal. Can take antacid suspension if required. Take your meals on time.
