I think you should go for clindamycin 300 mg twice daily along with metrogel 400 thrice. Take etody sos. And as soon as possible take out the tooth.

Thank you for your query,

Your Dentist have advised you the right thing and you should follow that.
If you do not get your wisdom tooth extracted then it will lead to major infection which may spread to adjoining areas, causing you more pain, discomfort and agony.
Medication can only help you as an intermittent relief but the pain will come back as soon as the effect goes away.
My advise to you is to follow the Dentist advise and get your wisdom tooth extracted

Dentist, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dr. Mahesh Kumar T S's  Response
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The pain could be because of the gum infection over the wisdom tooth (pericoronal infection leading to space infection).
Since you have already started with amoxicillin and metronidazole you can complete the course of 5 days duration. You can take an anlagesic like diclofenac 50mg BID and antiinflammatory serratiopeptidase BID for 5 days. The pain will come down in 3 days. Even after this if the pain does not come down, then you can start with amoxicillin with clavulnic acid 625mg and metronidazole 400mg bid for 5 days. Otherwise you can take medicines for 3 days and consult a oral maxillofacial surgeon and get it removed.
