Suggest Treatment For Trichomonas After Sex
im 18 years old and believe i have trichomonas because i have every sypmtom and at first i wa lead to beleive i had ph imbalance which had lead to this.. but what can i do? my mom and dad dont know im sexually active and what is the difference between trichomonas and trichomoniasis, i know that they have the same symptoms but why is one an std and one a sti? my boyfriend also has symptoms and they all finally became present, the day before yesterday and we havent had sex since.

If I am your doctor I advice you that Trichomonas vaginalis is the parasite and infection caused by it is known as Trichomoniasis. STD and STI both are same word and can be used interchangeably. You can take the metronidazole treatment for the infection. both the partner should be treated, and sex must be avoided during this period.
