I tested positive for TB when I was in preschool and I went through treatment. I am now 22 and my current workplace is asking for a TB test from me. Is it safe for me to get a TB test when I already know I will test positive? Will I need to go through treatment again?
Thanks for your question on HCM. It is not like that, once a TB patient is not always a TB patient. TB is 100% curable disease. So no need to worry for this. Since you have completed the total course of the treatment in the past and you are not having any symptoms at present, so you ate not suffering from TB at present. So be relax and forget about this. I advice you to consult pulmonologist first and discuss these things. No need of TB Treatment at present.
