Since Sunday my right upper eyelid has been twitching on andSince Sunday my right upper eyelid has been twitching on and off during the day. I have noticed it lessening today, where it only twitches every couple minutes, but it still a concern for me. It's not red or swollen and its only the right eyelid. I do have a lot of stress in my job and elsewhere, but I am wondering if its something more serious and how I can make it stop.
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having twitching of the eyelids. The twitching of the eyelids is because of contractions of the muscles of the eyelid. The common causes are stress, increased intake of caffeine containing drinks.... Since your job is stressful one as you have mentioned I advice you to reduce stress and reduce intake of caffeine containing drinks. The treatment by multivitamins and cold compression is helpful. If it is recurrent it requires evaluation and treatment of the underlying causes like facial nerve irritation, neurological causes.... Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this is helpful to you.
Thank you With regards
