Suggest Treatment For Two Herniated Discs In The Low Back
I ve been in hospital for pain management and had an MRI and was diagnosed with 3 herniated disks lower lunar. L4,L5 & S1. My pain management nurse came to see me and. Changed my controlled meds from Tapentadol to Zomorph 50mg morning and 50mg evening. I already take 600mg pregabalin, mirtazepine and nitrazepam. I also top up with paracetamol to boost opiates. I have a long standing spinal problem with congenital fusion l4 l5 and s1. Facet joint fusion also. Spinal and foraminal stenosis, facet joint arthritis and degenerative disk disease. However, I was released from hospital a week ago and cannot to anything without agonising right sided lower back pain and right leg pain from top to bottom, and all I am able to do all day is lay on my right side. I am in total agony and am not coping with the pain at all. Nothing is touching the pain and I don t know what else to do. All I am able to do is lay down and try ease the pain and pressure in both my back and legs please help
At one side you say you have herniated disc at l4 l5 S1, on other side you say they are fused, how is this possible, if bodies are fused there is no disc in between, your symptoms may be due to canal stenosis. I feel you should consult a good spine surgeon to see the cause of your symptoms and find out a solution, because fused discs may cause stiffness but they do not cause pain
