Suggest Treatment For Typhoid
Hi i am 27 years, from past 3 days am suffering from typhoid. While blood test was done my my sugar level was 248, again next day fasting test and ppbs was done and it was high this time also. My doctor said to follow few habits and deit for two weeks then again we'll test. Do i really have diabetes or is it just for typhoid?

If your fasting and post prandial both are high there is high possibility of diabetes. And if you still wants to confirm go for HbA1c. It is estimation of average of 3 months duration irrespective of diet habits. Newer diabetes guidelines are in favour of this only. And typhoid and diabetes are two different entity.
