Suggest Treatment For Upper Chest Pain And Spider Veins On The Rib Cage
My husband has not been feeling well. He has chest pain in the upper left side, feels nauseous, dizzy kinda out of sorts and has a few spider veins on his rib cage. He has been to the Er and Heart specialist and checked out ok. Any ideas what to pursue next?
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your concern. Chest pain with spider veins on rib cage is commonly seen with lung conditions like pneumonia, tuberculosis or lung cancer. So better to get done chest x ray first. If chest x ray is normal than no need to worry much. Gastritis can also cause nausea and left sided chest pain. So give him proton pump inhibitors and prokinetic drugs. If he is having stress than ask him to avoid stress and tension. Don't worry, he will be alright, but first get done chest x ray to rule out lung causes. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
