Suggest Treatment For Urinary Incontinence Post A Prostate Surgery

Hello Doctor, Yesterday I had a second operation in 3 month on my prostate (the first was unsuccessful because the surgent did not removed some tissue inside and did not correct the problem with urination): I could not urinate normally. Today nurse have removed the catheter and my doctor sad that everything is normal. Unfortunately, now I have a small leak before I am reaching the toilet. It happened today 3 times. Is it curable Doctor? Thanks. Bill Rovinsky

Hello dear Bill Rovinsky , hi

Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query in details .

* Ideally there should not be urine leakage after prostate surgery , but in
some of the cases patients may experience such symptoms for initial
5 - 7 days after catheter removal , which recovers .

* If persistent , then may require to evaluate for possible impact on
internal urethral sphincter , effect over bladder tone or else .

Hope this will help you for sure .
Wishing you fine recovery .

Welcome for any further guidance .
Regards .
