hello sir, My father 70 yrs old facing frequent urination, burning sensation, some time blood passing in urine, When diagnosed in USG, it shows the following Kidney : ----------- Right kidney is 86x42mm. Left kidney is 98x53mm. Both kidneys are normal in size and contour. Few small cortical cysts are seen in both kidneys. Cortical echoes are normal. Cortico-medullary distinction maintained.Bilateral pelvicalyceal systems are compact. Urinary Bladder : ----------------------- Bladder distended with normal contour. Mild bladder wall thickening is seen. Multiple calculi largest measuring 14mm seen in bladded. Significatn PVR -93ml Prostate: ------------- Prostate is enlarged in size. It measures 49x51x49mm. Volume: 64gm, Parenchymal echoes are normal Impresion: --------------- 1. Bilateral renal cortical cysts 2.Intravesical calculi 3.Prostatomegaly 4.Mild bladder wall thickening with significant PVR:93 Please let me know whether surgery required or will be cured using medicines..?
