My son is 24 has sudden incontinence. At u/s he had 800 cc s of urine and didn t feel he had to go. After he voided they repeated the u/s and he still had 500 cc s in him. The urologist is suggesting daily catherization. He has PKD and sryngomylia. The vascular neurosurgeon does not believe the srynx is the cause. The u/s also revealed a pouch on the bladder (diverticulum). There must be some other tests or ways to resolve this than catherization he is so young?
