Suggest Treatment For Urinary Tract Infection

I just used a tampon, I m on my 21st day of menstruation this week I m 19 years old. Today after removing the tampon I have uti symptoms. I feel like i constantly have to urinate, it burns to high hell, it hurts to move at all or to be stretched out. And I ve had to urinate small amounts every 3 to 4 minutes

Thanks for query.

You have urge to pass urine ,burning ,urination and frequency for urination suggesting you have acute UTI.

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Ciproflpxacin along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

It should get cured within 5 days .
