Suggest Treatment For Uterine Fibroid While Having BP And Diabetes

I am a 43 year old woman with high BP diabetes and overweight I have 9.5 cm fibroid which my gyn refuses to remove she feels it can lead to more issues due to my other medical problems. Should I see another gynecologist or stick with my current gynecologist.

hi welcome to health care magic.
you have a fairly large fibroid in your uterus. It may require removal at some point of time but as long as your diabetes and hypertension are not under good control you are likely to land in some kind of trouble as your gynecologist is rightly worried about. i don't think you require to change your doctor. first get your diabetes and hypertension under well control and then think about the uterine surgery.all the best
