Suggest Treatment For Uterine Fibroid

I am anemic and found that it was caused by uterine fibroid of which I had a uterine fibroid embolization last year and both blood and iron transfusion, I have also had a colonoscopy and endoscopy of which came back as internal hemorrohoids but nothing to clip or remove. my iron has gone up to 11 but the hemoglobin will not move up past 8.9. I am wondering what is going to happen next? I am to see a hematologist since its been a year like this.

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern. I have gone through your query and would like to offer you some information. Internal hemorrhoids which are small and not symptomatic and do not bleed need not cause concern. Only, care should be taken to see that they do not enlarge. This can be done through perineal exercises and dietary modification to see that there is no constipation. However, if the sole cause of anemia is detected to be the uterine fibroid which has not responded to embolization, myomectomy/hysterectomy should be considered depending on the situation.
