Hi,

There are many possibilities for vaginal bleed during or after sex. Since I get only a little history from you.

I'll list out all the possible criteria for vaginal bleed during and after sex.

1. Infection in vagina

2. Hymen break

3. Dryness

4. Forceful sex

5. Normal menstrual bleeding (you may have an early period)

6. Benign or malignant polyp.

7. Foreign bodies

8. Anatomical abnormalities

9. Bleeding disorders

In your issue mostly it would be forceful sex where you inserted your finger, dryness or hymen break, if she had intact hymen before.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
