Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Flatulence

I have a very strange and embarrassing question. I have recently and frequently have been having what I call vaginal gas . When I expel gas, it appears that it also comes from my vagina as well. Is this a real condition? What is it? Is there anything I can do about it? Thank you!

Hallow Dear,

I would have appreciated had you mentioned your age and number of deliveries you have undergone.

Anyway, your symptom is typical of utero-vaginal prolapse. Particularly prolapse of the back wall of the vagina is associated with prolapse of the rectum.

If there is no associated uterine prolapse, some perineal exercises and/or tightening of the pelvic muscles (posterior colpo-perineorrhaphy) will provide you relief.

Please report to your Gynaecologist.
