General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your query. The yeast infection of vagina is spread with intercourse to both partners. So even if one of them is treated, infection recurs again after sex. That is why ideally treatment is given to both the sex partners. I would advise you to reconsult skin specialist/ gynecologist for extended treatment plan for your would be--- and get a healthy start to your married life. Thanks.
