Suggest Treatment For Varicocele On Left Testicle

I am 29 yrs old. I have large varicocele on my left testicle. Thru internet only I diagnosed it. yet to consult the doc. Am afraid of surgical procedures, Are there non surgical options ?? can it grow even more if not treated? am so tensed. pls help...

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
It is great to know that you could diagnose large varicocele just by using internet.

I would advise you the following:
-Consult an Urologist first, get examined.
-To get the degree -get ultrasonography and color doppler examination done.
-Semen analysis - if this is reduced or not?
-Degree of local pain and pain in the abdomen by the side of belly button (umbilicus)

IF there is a pain, it is grade 4 or more, if the sperm count is falling, you have to get the classical varicocelectomy done.

Getting tensed does help in solving any problem.
