Suggest Treatment For Vertebral Artery Stenosis With Major Blockage In Both Arteries
my mom was just diagnosed with vertebral artery stenosis, and she doesn t know what to do. We are all afraid of what is happening with her. She already fainted and hit her eye on the counter and then fell to the ground and hit her head. her doctor told her there isn t enough research about this. What are the chances of something else happening? They told her that both of her arteries are majorly blocked.
Hi welcome to HCM. Vertebral artery stenosis can be quite a serious contention especially when symptomatic. It can lead to reduced blood supply to brain and eye leading to dizziness and visual blackouts.Vertebral angiography can accurately locate the site of stenosis.Vertebral artery stenosis can be effectively treated through metallic stenting of the blood vessels and with drugs like aspirin, clopilet.Consult your neurologist for further help. Thank you
