Hello, The causes of mastoiditis is middle ear infection or eustachian tube block or allergies etc. Antibiotic therapy is the mainstay of treatment for both acute and chronic mastoiditis. If symptoms not improved you have to undergo myringotomy or mastoidectomy according to your health condition. Please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
