In 2010 I was diagnosed with Vertigo in the ER because I got dizzy while driving. The doctor said I have build up behind my ears. The Dr. said motion sickness pills would help but now I m experiencing this same feeling and another doctor said OTC Allergy medicine would cure it. How do I treat this Vertigo and what medicine is the best use for this treatment?
Understanding your concern. As per your query vertigo can occur due to many reasons like middle ear infection , some kind of growth in middle ear or fluid in middle ear ( Meniere's disease ) . You should not ignore this , because sometimes the condition get complicated. i would suggest you to start with antibiotics, steroids and labrynthine sedatives for 5 to 7 weeks. you should go for vestibular rehabilitation exercises. You should consult with your ENT specialist and get evaluated. Doctor may order audiometry test and tuning fork test and treat it accordingly. Avoid touching and pricking it with any sharp object.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
