Suggest Treatment For Viral Fever In Children
My 6 month old kid male, has fever which goes upto 104 after every 6 hrs, then he takes medicine like calpol or crocin which brings it down. its 5 days now & from last 2 days he is passing stool every 20 or 30 min. Greenish & yellow color. Also blood spot also seen sometimes. Got the stool test Rbc = 3 - 4 -Pus cell Reducing Doc says its viral fever & shud go in another 2 days..He is on mother feed along with packed milk once or twice a day. rest kid is behaving normal, playing etc. sleeps majorly. rashes high now.

Viral fever or stomach flu may take 5 to 7 days to subside.
As the stool test shows rbc which are not more than 5, you should not be worried.
Give your child probiotics like sporlac sachet, zinc, and ORS for reducing loose stool and keeping him hydrated.
For fever give brufen plus paracetamol like ibugesic plus syp., as the fever is high.
If the problem persists see a doctor.
