Suggest Treatment For Vocal Cord Polyp

Sex Male Age 36 Problem Vocal Cord Polyp A Vocal cord polyp is observed on one of my vocal cord (left) one month back . I have taken 2 opinions here in UAE and everybody is advicing me for surgery. Since after one month I m returning back to India and wants to consult here in Delhi also.Will be advisable to postpon the surgery for ome month (means total of two months after the problem is diagnosed). Also advice me Is surgery the only solution to get rid of Vocal cord polyp.

Hi,

You said you have left vocal cord polyp, as per the impression I am getting from your description think laser vocal cord polyp removal will be the best option. Coming to your other question if it's a benign polyp not very large in size and you are not having and problem in drinking liquid you can postpone it. Doctors who have seen this polyp will be the best judge.
