Suggest Treatment For Water Blisters On The Arms And Hands

I had shoulder surgery on my left shoulder on 8/18. On 8/20 my right arm swelled up. I had water blisters and my hand and arm fell asleep. Was given prednisone and the external swelling has dissipated but my hand/fingers remain asleep. Not allowed to take nsaids due to gastric bypass surgery some years back. Please advise

I am Dr atishay Bukharia and I would be answering your questions.
blistering in your case it secondary to swelling and is due to extravasation of fluid from the subcutaneous tissue to Skin, the only treatment in your case is to reduce the Edema and to prevent secondary infection..
you can use fusidic acid twice daily over ruptured blisters..

Hope it helps
