Hi I ve been looking for answers on my water like bumps under my toes, they seem to spread to my fingers when I scratch my toes. I ve been told it can be a early infection of fungi, I can t find a doctor in my location and I was wondering if you had any idea of what my little bumps are. Thank you Jessica Gonzales
Hi. As per your case history you are having pompholyx. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
