Suggest Treatment For Weak Painful Arm Post Heavy Lifting

I was attempting to lift an object that was fairly heavy when I felt a pronounced pop in the front of my elbow. I can bend my arm with minimal pain but it is very weak. Also is weak and painful to supinate. I can still feel the tendon in my elbow and their was no bruising. Their was a lot of pain and swelling when the incident happened but that subsided within a week or so. Would appreciate any input you might have. Thanks

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to healhcaremagic. After going through your query I concluded that you may be having rupture of biceps tendon. But you said that you still feel it at elbow. It means it is partial rupture of biceps tendon or simply it is having injury.Treatment of it is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen. You can confirm its injury by MRI. You can discuss with your doctor about it. I think your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write us. I will be happy to answer your questions. Wishing you a good health. Take care.
