Suggest Treatment For Weakness In Back And Wrist After Injury.
Hello, i was ice skating today and i fell. i have a history of a weak back and weak wrists. trying to avoid landing on them i managed to land and hurt both. i went to a doctor a long (not related to this fall) time ago and he said i needed an operation (i didnt do the operation). beause my joints in my wrist are without pillows between them (dont know what to call them). so my joints are directry touching and it hurts. The pain disapeared after some time. but since i fell it hurts again. My question is: what can i do to ease the pain or prevent furter damage as much as possible. Thank you for your time 3
Your symptoms seem to be related to the injury. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest to use ice compresses for local application. Rest and maintain the area elevated. If the pain continue, you should do an X-ray to exclude a fracture.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
