Suggest Treatment For Weird Jerks In My Head

Hello, Almost 5 years back i hit my lower back while playing and fainted.Im now 16.Since almost 3 yrs i have been experiencing these weird jerks in my head.It first started from a severe jerk in the back of my neck while i was lying down one day quite afew months after i fainted. Now i get these headache kind of jerk in my head as if its a nerve pulling or something and often also my vision becomes blurred(almost like a black out for like around 5 seconds) and my face and head seems to get heated up after i come back to normal after those few seconds. Is there anything you can consult? Is it a matter of worry?cause i did not consult any doctor until now. Thankyou.

Hi,

You need to do MRI cervical spine to check any injury to the vessels of the spine as trauma may cause damage to the vessels.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sohaib Azhar, General & Family Physician
