Suggest Treatment For Wheezing And Cough

My son has wheezing and a horrible cough which is almost non stop..I am nebulizing him with ipravent and asthalin respules from yesterday..His cough is really painful to watch and he is not even able to sleep or take any food.Can you please suggest something to bring down his cough?

Hi,
From history it seems that he might be having asthmatic bronchitis precipitating due to bacterial infection.
He might require one antibiotic medicine course to cure infection.
After infection subsides he will feel better.
Give him some cough suppressant syrup.
Ok and take care.
