Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms generalized pain in gums can be due to infection in gums leading to
Gingivitis, you need not to worry and
consult a dentist and get yourself evaluated and in case of
gum infection Scaling of the teeth and area under the gums, along with oral intake of antibiotics and gum paint for topical application can help..
Now the other problem that is hurting of the sides of the tongue can be due to either inflammation of the mucosa of tongue or can be due to formation of canker sores if ulcers are also present..
The cheesy white bump or patches over the tongue seems to be due to yeast infection known as
ORAL THRUSH or
CANDIDIASIS.
It has a characteristic feature of cheesy white patches over the surface of tongue..
The pain on the sides of the tongue can also be due to thrush as it can also lead to inflammation and raw feeling on tongue..
You should consult an oral physician and get evaluated and in case of thrush antifungal medication like
Fluconazole cab be advised for 2 weeks..
Nystatin mouthwash gargels and taking more of probiotics like Yoghurt and garlic can help..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
