Hello,
Stop using the cream as it is doing more harm than good. Instead use a good water-based moisturizer on your face. Do not use any makeup, avoid use of body lotion or face wash, use only herbal products. Keep your skin clean. You can also apply a little lacto
calamine lotion on your face. Avoid scratching the area affected, which can make the
rash worse and open the skin up to infection.
Minimize direct exposure to sun to avoid causing any more damage to the skin while it heals. Take oral antihistamine., at bedtime for 3-5 days so that the symptoms of
allergy may be reduce / subside. You can do
cold compress at least once in a day for relieve. Take boiled food over fried food for good skin health.
Prefer to take vegetarian food over nonveg food so that chances of more
pimples and rashes coming will be fewer. Take bath regularly. shampoo your hair and make sure you do not have
dandruff. Your skin should get better. If it does not improve, get clinically examined by a
dermatologist, you need urgent medical attention.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
