Suggest Treatment For Yellow Discharge And Irritation In Vagina
HI I have recently started using estriol cream for the past month, applied vaginally for VA. Have been experiencing yellow discharge and irritation in the vagina since starting the bio identical treatment. I ve been applying the estriol cream vaginally 3x per week (at night) and experience this discharge and irritation the the following day. The irritation is starting to become less as time goes on, but, the yellow discharge is becoming heavier. Is this normal? Thank you....

I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to side effect of the estrogen cream or vaginal infection.
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination and vaginal swab test to confirm the infection.
If tests for vaginal infection come negative for infection then it suggestive of side effect of the estrogen.
You cn go for estradiol patch and estro care cream instead of using current cream.
Side effect of the patch is less and it is superior than the cream.
For infection gynecologist will provide following advises:
Vaginal suppository of clingen and lactobacillus
Ally vagisil cream
Wash vagina with warm salted water 2-3 times per days and then apply apple cidar vinegar
Wear pure cotton loose inner and maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
Drink plenty of water and eat healthy diet.
