Hello. Today, my 29 year old daughter went to the eye doctor concerning a possible cyst in her upper inner eyelid. It was just a clogged pore inside the eyelid but the doctor said that she had stage 1 (of 10) glaucoma due to a spinal fluid leak. He wants her to get a CAT scan and MRI. There are various types on glaucoma mentioned online. What sort of glaucoma is this, how is it treated and can it be cured? Thank you.
there is no link between spinal fluid and glaucoma. second opinion is to be taken. no ct scan or MRI is requered. only iot can be measured. anterior segment examination with gonioscopy may be required. all investigation are different field tracing is important.
