Suggest Treatment/home Remedies For Cough In A 5 Month Old Baby

My 5 month baby has cough Doctor isnt giving any medicine as he is too young for that.I m giving her warm milk and also steam bath and rubing some vicks but still its worst . actually she doesn't have fever bt i'm worried very much .plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz advice me any home remedie which will might help.

I reassure you that your doctor is right and cough as such need not be treated unless associated with breathlessness or wheezing or fast breathing or high fever. Cough and cold are viral 95% of the times in children. For cough and cold you can use anti-allergics like cetirizine and for nose block, saline nasal decongestants will do.
