Suggest Treatment Of Painful Red Swollen Bumps At Injection Site

My son had blood drawn on November 11 and it wasn t an easy draw, the nurse to fish around for the vein and it was very painful - afterwards the site looked more like an IV site and I treated it with antibiotic - this last Sunday he started complaining the site was hurting and the injection site was still not completely healed and there was an angry red bump the size of an eraser - now today the red swollen mark is the size of a dime! There is also lighter redness further out

Hi. Injection site might has got infected. Take an oral antibiotic like cephalexin and hot compress. It should help. Thanks
