Suggest Treatment Or Exercise To Reduce Sugar Levels
I am having sugar around 220 in spite of my taking too much precautions. I feel severe pain when go to bed for sleep on bottom portion of my both legs and on consulting doctor, I have been advised to take one cap. nervup od daily. Secondly, please advise me how to control my sugar besides walk which I am taking for the last nearly two months.Thanks

Hi Thanks for posting your query.
First of I hope your blood sugar was tested in fasting condition or 2 hours post prandial state. Otherwise a random blood sugar without symptoms of diabetes will hold no significance. If you have been diagnosed as diabetic then understand this. There are 3 aspects in the management of diabetes. 1. Good diabetic diet. 2. Aerobic exercise 3. Medications.
I advise you to consult a Nutritionist for a proper diabetic diet advise. But basic rules are avoid sweets fruit juices and high carbohydrate diet. Eat more of vegetables and high protein diet.
Do aerobic exercise like brisk walking jogging running cycling at least 20 minutes a day daily. Inspite of doing this if your sugars are not controlled you need to be started on medication. Your doctor will decide whether you can be managed with oral medications or you require Insulin.
