Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
how can I lower my blood pressure its 165 over 112 my left arm is been tingling and a little numb all day I do have a heart conditionI have been out of my medication for a long time I have no vehicle today so I need something to do at home with this problem
I understand your concern, and would like to explain that you can try 25 mg of Captopril sublingual, or Nitroglycerin 500 mcg s/lingual. If your left arm complains persist, then you should immediately consult an ER doctor in the hospital, to rule our any possible cardiac events. You need to closely monitor your BP values and consult your GP or cardiologist for a maintenance anti-hypertensive therapy. H ope to have been helpful to you. Greetings!
