Suggest Treatment To Cure Keratoconus
Hello Doctor,
I was diagonised with keratoconus on 17jan 2009.Since then,
1. consulted DR T K RAMESH
2. Treated at LVPEI hyderabad- treatment was to wear ROSE-K rgp lens(boston materials).
3. consulted DR ROHIT SHETTY at narayana netralaya and he was kken on getting collagen cross linking done.
DILEMMAS,
1. should i continue with RGP lens?
2. should i go for collagen cross linking?
3. should i go for scleral lens?
4. any other solutions?
FEARS,
1. i fear that collagen cross linking might lead to scaring of cornea and chances of getting astigmatism.

you should go for lens in which you are comfortable and vision is best.you give importance to maintenance of lens and definite ly remove it at bed time
