Suggest Treatment To Cure Pneumonia

hello my mother is in bankstown hospital with a serious lung infection or pneumonia they say , they tried everything and can not get her to breath properly, is there no specialist out there that knows more about the lungs and these pneumonia disease to cure her please..

Thanks for your question on HCM. If after treatment her pneumonia is not recovering than she needs Bronchoscopy and BAL (Broncho Alveolar Lavage) analysis. This will help in identification of causative organism. By culture and sensitivity of BAL we can guide the treatment (antibiotics). For all these you need to consult Pulmonologist and discuss these things. She may need CT Thorax.
