weight loss depends upon BMR(
Basal Metabolic Rate) .I will advise you to keep your
metabolism strong by eating balanced diet and practising
yoga.Here I am suggesting you few remedies for gaining weight
Have 1 tbsp shatavari and 1 tbsp
ashwagandha churn daily with lukewarm milk.
Have 1 tbsp of chyavanprash daily in the morning.
Soak raisins and almonds overnight and consume in the morning.
Boil milk with almonds,dates and drink.
Have more dairy products like cheese,butter,ghee,paneer in the diet.
Eat 4-5 small meals a day.
Take a light nap after a noon meal
Go for a walk regularly.
Practise yoga asanas and pranayam for boosting energy like shavasan,yoga nidra,sarvangasan,bhujangasan.
Effective ayurvedic medicines which you can take after consultation with doctor are shatavari churn,kushmanda avaleha,ashwagandha avaleha or churn,yashtimadhu .
Avoid eating Tambko it will do more harm than good.
Yes you can take vit D and calcium tablet if you have deficiencies or bone disorders.
