Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Acne Scars On The Face

I had acne on my face 2 months ago but then i went to a doctor nd he told me to buy the acne creams from the drugstore near the hospital i bought them and now my face is free from acne but the scars are left on my face there are black acne scars on my face,what shud i do to get rid of it?i have oily skin not too oily though but just normal sometimes my skins get dried and sometimes its oily please recommend me some good anti acne or skin scars creams i have tried contractubex gel but it didnt work i can still see my scars,please help me if you can thank you :)

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne scars on the face which occurs because of hormonal changes, excessive stress, dehydration, excessive exposure to sun light. I t could occur when clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. You should apply products containing benzoyl peroxide. You should take oral retinoids and can apply them as well as they are very effective. Also wash your face with mild soap and cold water twice a day. You should apply clindamycin gel on face two times a day. You should exfoliate your face once a week , apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day as this is safe and natural extract of cereals. you should add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. Drink plenty of water. If condition doesn't start getting better in a month then consult dermatologist. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course along with chemical peeling, microabrasion.
