hello, I just found out i have low risk HPV due to the appearance of a few genitals warts. It won t be another two weeks until of can go in to have them treated. Is their anything i can do it the mean time to prevent the warts from accumulating? Also, Ive read that HPV does go away after about 2 years, does that mean i will also be free of genital warts when that time comes? i understand that it will lie dormant in my body, but if a pap test comes back clear of HPV does that mean there is no chance that any are on my body at the time?
HPV is a sexually transmitted disease. Though genital warts are benigh it can get spread. It is better to remove the wart surgically. After removal of wart virus remains in your body and can spread to other hence it is necessary to use contraception. It is better if you consult gynaecologist.
