Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Painful Lump On Wrist

Hello, my wrist has a lump on it that might of been caused from playing rugby league , and it has been there for three weeks. For the first two week I rested it and it did not get better that much however recently I went to another sports competition and I might of aggravated it more. But since then ive been stayed off it completely and I ve also been stretching my wrist with exercises the physiologist gave me. and the lump has gone down a bit, but when I press against the lump, I can feel pressure. It also hurts when I do pressing movements but it is pain free when I do pulling movements. Can you please tell me what has happened and how can I treat it so that this lump goes away

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having Wrist Ganglion.
This is a common condition.
If it does not give any problem, nothing is to be done.
If it increases in size or give some trouble, then consult your doctor and get examined.
Ok and take care.
