Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Scar On Face

I have a very nasty scar on my face (in between mouth and chin area). It is about 5 cm long and it happened a year ago as I was slashed with knife. It is really bothering me a lot and I am distressed. How can I get rid of this scar? Can you please help me?
