Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Stitch Mark After Injury
I ran into a wall corner which created a vertical gash in the eyebrow area. I got 3 stitches which I took out in 4.5 days. For the last two weeks after removing the stitches, I have been applying Neosporin and wearing a stretchy fabric band aid over it to protect it from the sun as well as anything else. I have just started to press on the area and it still feels a little sore. A red line and a little depression where the gash was appears to still be there (no scab) Is it alright to start massaging the area with Mederma or other ointment? Can I continue to wear the band aid or should I move to silicone sheets? I want to do everything possible to minimize the scarring.
