Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of The Pimple On The Face

Hi my name is Austin, I m 19 years old male ( don t know if that helps at all ) But I had a pimple on my right cheek of my face that was very irritating, so I took a shower in warm water to try and open my pore. When I attempted to pop the zit I barley got anything out of it but it hurt so I left it alone. When I woke up this morning my cheek was very swollen and when I feel it there is something the size of a silver dollar in my cheek. Can you please help me out?

Welcome to Healthcaremagic!

I have assessed your problem and this is related to spread of infection from the lesion that was attempted to be forced open.

It would not be really difficult to handle the unpleasant situation at hand.
To any patient attending with me this problem I would ask to please wash the area frequently with cold water ( and please do not use hot water or steam on such lesions in future as this carries risk of spreading infection), and apply some antibiotic cream like Mupirocin. If there is considerable swelling, then anti-inflammatory like Brufen will be sufficient to restore normal contour.
