I am male 23.I am doing masturbation from age 18.Now I try to give up it and seem to success. My query is does masturbation stop height growth? If no then can my height be increased now(after 23). My height is only 150cm.I don t admit that it is due to genetic because all my three brothers have very handsome height and my sisters too.I also did exercise and yoga but no effect was seen. I am very fed up from this disorder.I feel shame on myself.I want to do anything if there can be possible and trust way to increase height after 23? please advice me.
The masturbation is not likely have played a significant impact on your final height.
Unfortuately at age 23, you are at your final height, no other growth is normally possible at this stage.
During childhood and adolescence there is a area at the end of the long bones (bones in the limbs) that is involved in adding new bones and increasing length and height.
At the end of adolescence changes occur to this area (called the epiphyseal plate), that prevent further addition of bone and therefore further growth.
I hope this helps
