Hello,

Your symptoms are indicative of Peyronie’s disease. It is a is a condition in which scar tissue causes your penis to curve. It may in certain situations also cause lose its length or girth. In some cases, it can cause pain and make it difficult or impossible for you to have sex. Such symptoms are caused due to an injury to the penis, a connective tissue disorder or formation of plaques. When plaques form on the bottom or side of the penis, the bend will be downward or sideways.

Avoid excessive masturbation as a minor injury to the penis during vigorous and prolonged masturbation can such symptoms. You are advised to get clinically examined by a urologist. Get it treated at the earliest as neglect may cause complications like inability to have sexual intercourse due to penile curvature, erectile dysfunction, stress in a relationship and problems fathering a child because intercourse is difficult.

Sometimes, it affects a person emotionally causing emotional distress, depression, or anxiety about sexual abilities. Your treating doctor after clinical examination will tell you to get done a penile duplex doppler ultrasound examination to help diagnose Peyronie’s disease and to study the scarring, plaque (calcium buildup), and blood flow in your penis so that you can be treated at the earliest. You will be accordingly treated with traction therapy, oral medications that can help improve the blood flow like Tadalafil (Cialis), etc.

You will be given injections if required, like Interferon injection, a protein that helps reduce swelling and scarring. If required, you will be given collagenase injections if the curve in your penis is greater and to help break down scar tissue.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
